Whole Butt splits are a very versatile, inexpensive leather suitable for a wide variety of applications and leather goods, predominantly satchels, belts and straps.Other uses include: instrument/music cases, tablet & smart phone cases, sporrans, pet collars & leads as well as various industrial & marine applications. Over the years we have refined and improved our range of splits considerably, we stock good clean skins, not just the top workable surface, but our splits also have very clean backs- showing little vain or loose flesh- this makes them ideal for use in the manufacture of unlined satchels, bags and belts.Large, regular shaped whole butts, offer great cutting of large patterns and good length for strapping and belts. We have a selection of coloured splits available, plus a range of waxy pull-up splits. Please note, as these are a large item, even when rolled we cannot box them for shipping. They have to be wrapped in hessian sacking and the carriers charge us an additional handling supplement, so shipping costs for this item start at £23.99 (inc. VAT).
