Firstly service was second to none when it came to answering my question and secure packing and shipping of the skin. Jack was awesome, friendly and gave great advice.The skin it self is not great. Couple of areas have deep cuts (which look like it maybe happened during splitting) on the flesh side which almost go completely through. Thickness consistency isnt great either, it varies from 1mm up to 1.6mm (most tanneries work to around 0.3mm tolerance) which is kinda annoying as I requested this was checked prior to shipping as it needed to be the advertised 1.2mm or under and now means this isnt right for what I needed it for. As for the product cant say I would buy again in a hurry.For full disclosure- I probably wont send it back and I havent messaged J wood leathers with a complaint as I will just use it for something else. I have no doubt they would offer soluntions and continue they great service they have already given.
