These hats are genuine Akubra and made in Australia using up to 14 rabbit skins in an individual hat. How to measure your hat: Get a soft tape measure or a long strip of paper and place it around your head in the position you wear your hat. The tape should be level, in the center of your forehead and about 7mm above the top of your ears. It is best to get the size slightly larger that what you measure and pack the sweat band out for a perfect fit with either leather or newspaper. Over time Akubra’s will shrink slightly then the packing can be taken out once this happens….then it will fit you for years.
