Sena 60S Communication System The Sena 60S is a new communication system made for riders who want easy communication, great sound, and long talk time at every ride. This communication system is designed by Sena, a Korean quality brand known for making great communication systems. This intercom uses Bluetooth 5.3 and Sena Mesh intercom, so you can talk with other riders, listen to music, follow navigation, and take phone calls without problems. Design and Comfort The Sena 60S intercom main unit is 94 x 52 x 27 millimetres and weighs only 68 grams, so it is small and light on your helmet. This reduces neck fatigue and makes it more comfortable to wear your helmet while the intercom is attached. The communication system connects directly to the 40 millimetre speakers, which are only 8.6 millimetres thick. This makes the system comfortable inside the helmet while still giving clear and powerful sound. A small but very useful extra is the built-in flashlight, which can help when it is dark. The Sena 60S is fully waterproof, so riding in rain is no problem at all. You also get different colored faceplates, so you can change the look of the system to better match your helmet or motorcycle. Connectivity and Use While Riding The Sena 60S gives you many ways to connect. The intercom works with Bluetooth 5.3 and with Sena Mesh intercom, so you can easily switch between talking to other riders, listening to music, using navigation, or making phone calls. In open areas, both Bluetooth and Mesh intercom can reach up to 2 kilometres between two riders. With Wave Intercom and Open Mesh, you can ride and talk with a very large group of riders. With Group Mesh, you can make a fixed group of up to 24 riders. If you use Bluetooth intercom, you can talk with up to 4 riders at the same time. This makes the Sena 60S good for small rides, big group rides, and long tours. Sound Quality Sound quality is one of the best parts of the Sena 60S. The intercom comes with second generation Harman Kardon speakers, which give clear and good sound for both music and talking. The intercom also uses Advanced Noise Control and AI noise reduction. These systems always work in the background and lower wind and road noise while you ride, so voices stay easy to hear. You can also use the Sena 60S with ANC earbuds. These can lower outside noise by up to 25 decibels, while all intercom functions keep working as normal. Battery and Daily Use The battery of the Sena 60S is made for long rides. When you use Bluetooth intercom, you can talk for up to 24 hours. When you use Mesh intercom, you still get up to 17 hours of use. Charging is done with USB-C and a full charge takes about 1.5 hours. Finally, the communication system is made for all seasons, because it works well in cold and hot weather, from -20C up to 55C. What You Get in the Box The Sena 60S comes as a very complete set, so you do not need to buy extra parts. You get the main unit, two helmet clamps, and two full speaker sets, which is very useful if you want to use the system on two helmets. You also get three microphones, so the system works with full-face, modular, and open-face helmets. To change the look, Sena includes four faceplates. For mounting, you get a glued mounting plate and extra double-sided tape. For a good and comfortable fit inside the helmet, the box also includes speaker pads, Velcro pads for the speakers, microphone sponges, Velcro pads for the microphones, and a microphone holder.
