Fabulous “Plymouth Dock Banks” Longcase Clock – ca1810 Superb longcase clock Incredible solid oak case 8-Day movement silvered chapter ring dial on brass brass ball and eagle top pediment finial Lockable case Anchor escapement Broken swan neck pediment top Clock is circa 1810 Working order Measures 230cm high by 49cm wide & 25cm Antique Long case clock housed in a flame mahogany venner case, has a wonderful, aged Patina. The clock has a broken swan neck top pediment topped off with a brass ball and eagle finial. The dial is is a silvered chapter ring with roman numerals, mounted on brass, surrounded by ormolu spandrels, subsidiary seconds dial. The hands are fantastic, lovely and ornate finish, style typical of the period. Very good condition for age, showing slight signs or age please view the many photos make sure happy.
