Why we like it at Happy Little Tadpole: Unlike other songbooks that I may skip on purpose due to horrible tunes getting stuck in my head, Down by the Bay is a tune I don’t mind reading or singing. I find it to be a fun tune that I hope to pass on to my own children one day. Singing helps little ones develop speech and listening skills, making Down by the Bay a great singalong book for the youngest of listeners.
