The porous nature of this article, combined with the grease/wax free finish allows it to absorb water and become extremely malleable when wet, allowing you to form the leather to your required shape. As it dries the leather will retain the desired shape and become suitable for carving, embossing and dying.Amanda Shoulders are available in two thicknesses: 1.8/2.0mm and 3.0/3.5mm. In order to make this premium leather more affordable to beginners and novice leather workers, we have half shoulders available. The shoulders are cut in half across the spine to ensure you will still get great cutting for belts. Both full shoulders and half shoulders are guaranteed to cut a minimum belt length of 52 inches.
